Solid Microneedle Development Services
Solid microneedles, as an emerging micro and nanotechnology, have shown great potential in various fields. Protheragen-ING specializes in the design, development, and production of cutting-edge solid microneedles. We are committed to providing high-quality solid microneedle development services to our customers to help them realize innovative breakthroughs in the fields of medicine, aesthetics, and bioscience.
Background
Solid microneedles are elongated structures with micrometer dimensions, usually made of typically metal, silicon, or polymers. They can vary in diameter from tens to hundreds of micrometers and have a sharp tip. This type of microneedle structure is designed to penetrate the stratum corneum to enhance drug delivery to the dermis, thereby improving bioavailability and kinetic transport across the skin.
Solid microneedles are suitable for vaccine delivery because they last longer and have a more robust antibody response. Solid microneedles are easy to manufacture and have excellent mechanical properties and sharper tips.
