Description
Sclerotium Gum is a water soluble, nature-derived polysaccharide producedby fermentation of the filamentous fungus Sclerotium rolfsii. It is a highlyversatile ingredient, which improves the sensory characteristic of personalcare products. Scleroglucan has rheological properties, and unlike mostnatural and synthetic gums, has high thermal stability, is resistant tohydrolysis and retains skin moisture.
