Recombinant Human M-CSF Protein, His tag
Description
Macrophage colony stimulating factor 1, also known as CSF-1 and M-CSF, is a one-way membrane protein that forms homodimers or heterodimers via disulfide bonds. M-CSF is a major regulator of macrophage survival, proliferation and differentiation. M-CSF can promote monocyte survival, monocyte transformation to macrophage and macrophage proliferation.
Molecular Weight
The protein has a predicted MW of 27.08 kDa. And it migrates as 33 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.
Purity
> 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Endotoxin
<0.01 EU per 1μg of the protein by the LAL method.
Formulation
Lyophilized from 0.22 μm filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4).
Reconstitution
Centrifuge tubes before opening. Dissolve lyophilized protein with sterile PBS to ensure the concentration is greater than 100 ug/mL.
